One things that’s been bothering me: I’m not the only one who’s noticed that bug catchers are really freaking creepy, right? Everybody wants to battle you and show off their pokemon, yada yada, but bug catchers seem to make that their life mission. And I really don’t like bugs okay so just GET THEM OOOUT OF MY FACE. PLEASE ;___; It’s good that my Torchic was really protective early on. She always drop-kicked those little fuckers outta there, and I feel sorry for you bros, I really do, but I don’t facking like bugs!
Speaking of Torchic, she’s grown since those days in Littleroot Town. My team right now includes my two kickass fighting girls, Blaziken and Breloom, and I just found a Kecleon. Seriously, that guy reminds me more of Genya sometimes. Too sassy for his own good. And also Swablu, who worried me for a while because he was weak and kept fainting, but he finally seems to be getting the hang of battling.
I also tried asking Hivy for help because I’m still kind of behind—Lin already beat the Elite Four over in Johto and, well, you know Lin, it’s always “HURRY UP NICO” and “WHY IS EVERYONE SO SLOW” when it’s like, sorry we’re not all manic little livewires! Anyway, Hivy’s actually been busy with her own pokemon adventures. She says she’s looking for some guy N who’s… really cool or something, and apparently talks to pokemon. I’m just like, who doesn’t? I’m always telling Blaziken how awesome she is, and Lin has these intense, philosophical discussions with her Arcanine, so
Well, I’m heading to earn my sixth gym badge now and I guess we’ll just see how that goes! And now we gotta get Genya to play pokemon, too. I think he’d like the Unova region a lot. Hivy’s been telling me about it and it sounds really great, way swank and full of people. Hoenn is nice because it’s so quiet and you can just appreciate the nature around you. Well, until volcanoes start exploding and you get caught in a mob crossfire or whatever, but it’s really okay.
